The origins
In 2020, after thirty years dedicated to national and international photographic exhibitions, to a photographic gallery in the heart of Lecce, Luana and Roberto decide to broaden their gaze and their research towards a new project: Lurò is born.
Roberto Tondi , a photographer from Salento with international inspiration, has dedicated the last few years to the development and diffusion of the Stone Painting project. A unique photographic project, Stone Painting was born in a basement and is the casual encounter between photographs and the Lecce stone with its microorganisms, light, air and who knows what other energy of nature.
Luana Delos , passionate about photographic post-production and creative at 360°, multifaceted transformer of every material into art and beauty : from the draft to the shape everything comes from her hands. A creative gift expressed through artistic costume jewelry and her fashion lines.
The Inspiration
Luana is the beating heart of the Lurò project, which is born from her creations inspired by the photographs and works of Roberto Tondi, as a natural evolution of a vital bond that expands from people to objects and everyday spaces, a communion between art and life; thus new paintings are born through the use of different materials such as ink, acrylic or quartz on photography and silk creations through the printing of the same works, so art also becomes wearable .
